Carol Choir (age 4 through grade 1)

Mary Langston will be directing our Carol Choir. Mary is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a degree in Music Theatre. Mary has recently spent several years living in New York City, where she was involved in children’s and youth ministry and also attending The Riverside Church.

Jubilate Choir (grades 2-5)

5:30-6:00 p.m. in the Main Rehearsal Room
Bob Gallagher is River Road’s Minister of Music, and he has decades of experience working with children’s and youth choirs. He has a vast knowledge of age-appropriate music for all singers, and he actively promotes a combination of songs and hymns in a wide variety of musical styles. Bob will be directing the Jubilate Choir (grades 2-5), Youth Choir (grades 6-12), and Camerata (singers invited/auditioned from grades 3-12).

Youth Choir (grades 6-12)

4:45-5:30 p.m. in the Main Rehearsal Room
Lauren Maho, a junior at Virginia Commonwealth University studying Vocal Performance, is our new Alto Choral Scholar and Youth Choir Conductor. In addition to her avid participation in VCU choral and opera departments, Lauren currently sings with the Richmond Symphony Chorus and Chamber Chorus. She is thrilled to begin making music here at River Road!
