For people experiencing homelessness and/or addiction, CARITAS is Richmond’s active community of caring that provides a safe space for healing and recovery—and the support to rebuild and renew lives. RRCB provides needed items, dinners, and lunches for the shelter clients.

CrossOver Healthcare Ministry

CrossOver is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality, compassionate healthcare to uninsured and Medicaid patients. Volunteers—lay persons and medical/dental professionals—contribute their skills in clinic.

Volunteers also lead classes in sewing, knitting, quilting, and crocheting—serving the needs for instruction, language learning, and as simulation support through Circulo de Costura (Sewing Circle) at CrossOver Ministry.
