While extra meals will not be available, Midweek Connections is still open to everyone. You can join just for the program, or you can bring your own meal.
Supper reservations are required by Mondays at 4PM.

Religion Today

Wednesday evenings in September will feature an interest group titled “Religion Today.” Each week a leader will unpack a topic that lies behind stories in today’s news. On September 9 Mike Clingenpeel will explain Dispensationalism, an interpretation of the Bible that is shaping some Americans’ views of war and policy in the Middle East. On September 16 Nathan Taylor will introduce John Leland, an 18th century Virginia Baptist preacher who likely would be no friend of the modern movement known as Christian Nationalism. On September 23 Bert Browning will define Calvinism, an historic theological system that has today’s Southern Baptists in a dither.
