Sanctuary and Möller Organ

When planned in the late 1960s to accommodate a growing church, the design of the Sanctuary focused on the soaring aspect of a cathedral-type space that directed attention to the heavens. A classic pipe organ and complementary acoustics would assist in this effort.

The Chapel Organ

The chapel, originally built in 1950 as the first formal worship space at River Road Church, is still used for small worship services, weddings, and funerals.

Grand Pianos

River Road Church has been blessed to have in its inventory of instruments five grand pianos, each given to the church by members.

Our Easter Gifts Support the Fellowship Fund

In gratitude for God’s greatest gift in Christ Jesus, please consider making an Easter Gift to the River Road Church Fellowship Fund in honor or memory of a loved one. Your Easter Gift supports the Fellowship Fund and fills the chancel with lilies on Easter Sunday. On Easter Sunday lilies will be available for pick up after worship. The Fellowship Fund is administered by the Board of Missions to assist those in the Richmond community in financial crisis. It is sustained through the ongoing contributions of our congregation.

You may make your gift in cash, by check (note “Easter Gift” in the memo line), or online using the QR code on the designated envelope in the pew racks. Please note your chosen wording for the Easter Sunday bulletin listing on the Easter Gift envelope, include it in a note with your gift, or send it by email to info@rrcb.org. The deadline for your gift to be included in the Easter Sunday bulletin is Wednesday, April 9. Thank you for caring for our community through the Fellowship Fund!
