Adult Program

Living the Sabbath—Discovering Rhythms of Rest and Delight with Rev. Lacey Wondree
6:00-7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

In this first session, we will set a sabbath context—what is sabbath and how have we lost our way in the practice of maintaining it? On November 16, we will have a second discussion on sabbath in a practical context—how can we actually practice sabbath? These large group discussions, based on insights from Dr. Norman Wirzba’s book on this topic, will help us gain a little familiarity with Dr. Wirzba’s thoughtful faith will help us be ready for his time with us. He is our Distinguished Speaker Forum speaker on November 15 and is preaching on November 16.
