Adult Program

Spiritual Giftedness with Rev. Dr. Steve Booth
6:00-7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

Have you considered how you are gifted to serve God and God’s world? Scripture instructs us that we each have special talents and skills, gifts given to us by our Creator to share with the world. Come for Dr. Booth’s insights and reflect on ways you may bless the church, your family, and the world.

Below you will find a note and information from Dr. Booth about a Spiritual Gifts survey. If you aren’t able to complete the inventory, please know you are still welcome and able to attend the session and can benefit from the discussion.

Dear friends,

I’m looking forward to our upcoming two-session workshop on spiritual gifts. To prepare, please complete the Spiritual Gifts Inventory before our first gathering and come ready to share and dialogue about your initial results (your top 3–5 gifts and any surprises).

You have two ways to complete the inventory, both of which require you to download a version of the inventory.

(1) You can download the PDF document, print it out, complete and self score. If you prefer, you can also pick up an inventory in the Church Office.

(2) You will also find an EXCEL document that you can download and complete which will automatically score your inventory. Note at the bottom of the document four tabs (sheets) – Instructions, Gift Map, Inventory, and Results. Click on each one to open.

As you take the inventory, I encourage you to make it a prayerful practice, asking the Holy Spirit for honesty, clarity, and openness. Then, answer as you are right now, not as you wish to be.

When you come to the session, bring your completed inventory if you have done it and come ready to learn and encourage one another.

If you wish to ask questions prior to our gathering you can reach out to Anna Miller.

I’m grateful for the unique gifts God has entrusted to each of you and excited to see how they will bless our church and community.

Grace and peace,
Steve
