The next two Sundays, March 17 and 24, we welcome Frances Taylor Gench and Roger J. Gench, professors at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.
Following TFC there will be a concert—Music for J. S. Bach—in the Sanctuary.
Supper reservations for March 24, 2024, are required by Thursday, March 21 at 4PM.
Current Program
“Drink this Cup” led by Rev. Dr. Roger J. Gench

Roger J. Gench will guide us in reflection on political angles of vision on the cross evoked by the Gospel of Mark’s presentation of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples as he heads towards his death on the cross, and implications for our own lives of public engagement with challenges facing our nation and our world.
Roger J. Gench recently retired from seventeen years of service as the Senior Pastor of The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC. He currently serves as the Theologian in Residence at Second Presbyterian Church in RVA.
The program will begin and end early this week so concert attendees have enough time to get to the Sanctuary.
