Our ministerial staff described music’s importance as “9.99” and emphasized that “we have a niche and we do it well.”
This sentiment was echoed throughout stakeholder interviews, with consistent praise for the quality, consistency, and excellence that define our music ministry. Many respondents shared moving accounts of musical “high points,” frequently mentioning our Chancel Choir’s performances of Handel’s Messiah, the beauty of our concert series, and the powerful role of music in worship services throughout the liturgical year.

As one long-term member noted, there has been remarkable “consistency in the quality of music presented at RRCB.” Our RRCB Music Committee emphasized the importance of maintaining our established traditions, particularly our liturgical focus and signature performances like Messiah at Christmas and the Hallelujah Chorus on Easter.

Pastoral Heart: Understanding of the ministerial role, with the ability to provide pastoral care within the music ministry and serve as part of our ministerial team
