September 14, 2025: Camino Pilgrimage Reflections

Many who went on the Camino Inglés will offer their perspectives on walking the pilgrimage. You will hear about the blessings and challenges, the thoughts along the way and the processing that happens afterwards. We will share about the prayers we carried and these connections with home. Your prayerful support meant so much to us and we will be glad to tell you in person.

September 21, 2025: Youth California Mission Trip Report and Rick & Lita Sample, CBF Field Personnel in San Francisco

Program begins at 5:45 p.m.

Youth will kick off our time sharing about their experiences with the Karen community along with their experiences in the Bay Community which included service and learning among many different cultures. After they share, Rick and Lita Sample, CBF Field Personnel, will spend the second portion of our time describing their ongoing work, letting us know how we can pray for them, and offering their reflections from their time with our youth.

September 28, 2025: Learning Edge with Matt Rooney

Matt will provide a brief reading for the group and follow this with a guided discussion based on the material. The reading will be selected because it may stretch our thinking and bring new understanding. In addition, it will provide a platform for deeper conversation together as well as personal reflection. This evening will offer a taste for the newest, upcoming RRCB educational offering beginning this fall, Learning Edge.

October 12 & 26, 2025: Spiritual Giftedness with Rev. Dr. Steve Booth

A Gifts Inventory will be provided for folks to take in advance

Have you considered how you are gifted to serve God and God’s world? Scripture instructs us that we each have special talents and skills, gifts given to us by our Creator to share with the world. Come for Dr. Booth’s insights and reflect on ways you may bless the church, your family, and the world.

October 19, 2025: Living into a Hospitable Identity with Rev. Dr. Valerie Carter Smith

How RRCB can take specific actions to be who we believe we need to be and who we are gifted to be.

November 9 & 16, 2025: Living the Sabbath – Rhythms of Rest and Delight with Rev. Lacey Wondree

A large group discussion based on insights from Dr. Norman Wirzba’s book on this topic. He is our Distinguished Speaker Forum speaker on November 15 and is preaching on November 16. A little familiarity with Dr. Wirzba’s thoughtful faith will help us be ready for his time with us.
