Choral Evensong at Washington National Cathedral

On June 9 at 4:00 p.m., the 80-voice combined choirs of River Road Church and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will provide music for Evensong at Washington National Cathedral. They are looking forward to bringing more pilgrimage music to worshipers in our nation’s capital.
On June 2, the combined choirs led an Evensong service in the River Road Church Sanctuary. The service provided inspirational moments of worship, but also served as preparation for these choirs’ pilgrimage to Bath Abbey and three cathedrals in the west of England. Music for the service was directed and accompanied by Dr. Brent te Velde, Chris Edwards, and Diana Chou of St. Stephen’s and Dr. Bob Gallagher of River Road.
