Michael Cheuk has worked as a campus minister, an associate minister at University Baptist Church (Charlottesville), and as senior minister at Farmville Baptist and again at University Baptist. After nearly 20 years in congregational ministry, he is currently taking a sabbatical. He holds degrees from Rice University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the University of Virginia. He serves on the board of Baptist Center for Ethics and on the Ministries Council of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He is also certified as a Christian leadership coach. His hobbies include reading, photography, singing, and cooking. He and his wife Beth have been married for 23 years, and they have a daughter who will be a freshman at VCU’s School of the Arts, and a son who will be a sophomore at Albemarle High School.
