River Road Church will soon embark upon a new TFC-Adults Lenten series entitled “The Grace of Les Misérables.” This series will be coordinated by Roy Terry and his son Andrew Terry.  If you are not yet familiar with the story of Les Mis, do not be deterred! The kick off program will commence with a showing of the recent film, inclusive of dinner, on February 23. Feel free to bring any movie snacks you wish to enjoy or share. Coffee and water will be available throughout the movie time.

Dinner will be served around mid-movie. Chris Ahart is going to be preparing our dinner of sandwiches and salad with cookies for dessert. You may offer $9.00 (a suggested donation) to help offset the cost of our meal. At the time of supper, someone will be available to receive your money.

The series will then continue on the following five Wednesday evenings of Lent, March 4-April 1. Each session will focus upon those truths on the theme of grace as conveyed by each of the principal characters from Les Mis. Thinking about both the grace of God and the grace, given and received, between persons (us!) may expand our vision of the grace-filled life that we should experience in following Christ. If you would like to attend the Introduction Program & Dinner, please use the form below to RSVP. Weekly reservations for Wednesday Night Dinner and TFC programs for all ages can be made here.
