Following worship there will a reception in the Fellowship Hall hosted by the deacons, Social Committee, and the Retirement Steering Committee.
A note about the service: This morning Dr. Clingenpeel concludes his pastorate with a sermon. Following the sermon, Fred Anderson, co-chair of the Pastor Retirement Celebration Committee will offer some remarks. The service has been extended to allow for the remarks while the congregation can be seated. At the conclusion of the service, congregants are invited to a special reception in the Fellowship Hall to honor Mike and Vivian Clingenpeel. During the reception, presentations will be made to the pastor and his wife from the congregation and the portrait of Dr. Clingenpeel painted by Loryn Brazier, a renowned artist of portraiture, will be unveiled and presented to the church.
