Fifth Sunday after Pentecost
Service of Worship
11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Sermon by Daniel Glaze
I am not God; you are not God. We know this truth consciously, but somehow we conduct our lives as if the world will live or die based on our own successes or failures. In the Gospel passage, Jesus appropriately speaks to us as if we were small children. A child doesn’t have to prove her worth. She knows she is loved just as she is.
Music by the Summer Chancel Choir
Following worship there will be a reception on the Plaza hosted by the Discovery Sunday School Class.
Everyone is invited to attend.
