Sermon by Dr. Daniel Glaze
Division in the Church
The best way to maintain our unity despite our disagreements is (you won’t be shocked to hear the preacher say this)—come to church. You may be surprised to discover that you need the church. Why? Because it is the church which has held for you the message and promise of Christ. As the Apostle Paul reminds us, it is within the church that God holds Christ’s disciples in unity. You might bump into Jesus on your own, but I don’t think you will grow into spiritual maturity on your own.

Scripture Texts:
Deuteronomy 30:15-20
1 Corinthians 3:1-9

Let High the Heavens – William Billings
Thy Word is a Latern – Henry Purcell ~ Trio: Christopher Ahart, William Dameron, Seth Roberts
