Palm Sunday
Service of Worship
11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary

Palm Sunday is the day we remember the “triumphal entry” of Jesus into Jerusalem, exactly one week before His resurrection. Palms are distributed at this service. The processional will be led by the children waving palms, reminiscent of the crowd greeting Jesus.

Sermon by Dr. Daniel Glaze
“Who Doesn’t Love a Parade?”
This is the week of Christ’s suffering for the sins of the world. We know what is to come and as tragic as it is, we are oddly grateful for it. Because the week ahead forever changed our lives. That’s why we join the parade today, lifting our palm branches high and proclaiming, with a lump in our throats, “Hosanna, Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”
