Sunday, December 28
9:45 a.m., Fellowship Hall
The end of the calendar year is often a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the coming one. It is a good time to review what and who is important and renew one’s commitment to those people and things that give us life and bring us closer to God. Adults, youth, and children are all invited to participate in this gathering which will include hands on activities, reflections, and conversation.
There are a couple of reasons for the event. First, we think an event that includes the entire church family learning and fellowshipping together is a very good thing. Second, it means teachers don’t have to prepare a Sunday School lesson in the midst of busy holiday celebrations. Third, we will explore the theme of covenant renewal in our worship service that morning and this will give folks an opportunity to think on that topic and hopefully make worship that morning even more meaningful.
