The Ad Hoc Committee for Streamlining was busy over the summer. We interviewed over 40 distinct entities within the church. We met almost every week, and with much discussion and overarching concern for the future of our church, we are ready to provide a summary and a draft of changes to the constitution and bylaws for comment and input from church members. Please use the links below to access these documents. The goal is to fine tune the proposed language in time for presentation at the November 16, 2025 church business meeting.
Realizing that the Nominating Committee has completed most of its work for the 2026 slate, we propose that these changes take effect in 2027. Therefore, 2026 will be a transition period. The members of the Ad Hoc Committee for Streamlining are Hilton Almond, Margaret Collins, George Davis, Ann Domyan, Robert Gray, Laura O’Neal, Scott Rooney, Bill Rusher, Sharon Seward, and Emily Sumner.
