The next two Sundays, March 17 and 24, we welcome Frances Taylor Gench and Roger J. Gench, professors at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.

Supper reservations for March 17, 2024, are required by Thursday, March 14 at 4PM.

Current Program

“The Last Straw: The Raising of Lazarus” led by Rev. Dr. Frances Taylor Gench
6:00-7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

Frances Taylor Gench will guide us in reflection on a biblical story that the church through the ages has traditionally engaged during its journey through Lent toward Easter: the Gospel of John’s dramatic story of the raising of Lazarus—the pivotal event that in John precipitates the events of Jesus’ passion and death.

Frances Taylor Gench is Herbert Worth and Annie H. Jackson Professor of Biblical Interpretation at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond.
