Tuesday, November 22
7:00 p.m., Parlor
Most people look forward to the holidays of late November and Christmas, when family and special friends gather and rich memories are shared. Those who have lost a loved one anticipate the same days with some trepidation and concern, because the absence of an irreplaceable person can fill the holiday with sadness and emptiness. Folks who have experienced an important loss are invited to gather with in the Parlor with Dan Bagby for an hour or so, when we can quietly and prayerfully identify dynamics of loss and grief, compare notes on how to move through the holiday times, and share a moment or two of mutual support and care.
