Richmond Hill
We will be holding a 24-hr overnight retreat for deacons at Richmond Hill, an ecumenical retreat center located in historic Church Hill. Deacons attend to the spiritual needs of the congregation, and the retreat is intended to provide an opportunity for them to explore their own spiritual formation in preparation for their leadership role. Expenses for this retreat are being covered by the Board of Christian Education and Spiritual Formation and space is limited. Priority will be given to deacons beginning a new three-year term this year. (Returning deacons may register on a space available basis.)

Facilitator:
Dr. Robert Dale, retired from the Virginia Baptist Mission Board and first director of the Center for Creative Church Leadership, will be the retreat leader. He is author of 20 books on church leadership.
Additional Information:
You may arrive at Richmond Hill anytime after 4pm on Friday to check-in to your room. The retreat will start with community prayers in the Richmond Hill Chapel at 6pm followed by dinner. It will conclude Saturday afternoon by 4pm.
